Drawing Tutorial: How To Draw A Bottle Of Soda

In this tutorial, I will guide you through drawing a bottle of soda step by step. This lesson consists of eight simple steps and will help you improve your drawing skills for future projects. Many of us are familiar with soda, such as Coca-Cola, a popular carbonated drink associated with festive celebrations like Christmas and New Year’s. Gather your materials, and let’s begin!

Materials Needed

  • Pencil
  • Paper
  • Eraser
  • Coloring supplies

Step 1: Draw the Bottom of the Bottle

Start by drawing a small straight line at the bottom of your paper. This line forms the base of the soda bottle and sets the foundation for the rest of your drawing.

Step 2: Add the Side Edges of the Bottom

On each side of the initial line, draw curved lines extending upwards. These lines will create the side edges of the bottle’s bottom, giving it a rounded shape.

Step 3: Outline the Lower Part of the Bottle

Continue by drawing two identical curved lines along the sides of the bottle. These lines should extend upwards and slightly outwards to form the lower section of the soda bottle.

Step 4: Draw the Top of the Bottle

Next, continue the curved lines you just drew, extending them further up to shape the upper part of the bottle. Ensure the curves are symmetrical to maintain the bottle’s shape.

Step 5: Add the Bottleneck

Outline the bottleneck by drawing the same curved lines on the left and right sides. This will create a narrow section at the top of the bottle, leading to the lid.

Step 6: Draw the Lid of the Bottle

At the top of the bottleneck, draw a rectangle with rounded corners. This will represent the lid of the soda bottle, completing its structure.

Step 7: Add the Label to the Bottle

In the middle of the bottle, draw two straight horizontal lines to create a space for the label. Write the word “cola” or any other soda brand name you prefer within these lines.

Step 8: Color the Drawing

Finally, color your soda bottle using blue, black, and red. Feel free to use other colors if you wish to customize your drawing. Adding color will bring your bottle of soda to life.
